If you've been following my blog(s) then you should know that Asia is a terrible place to get a haircut. This is a pretty sweeping statement and I should mention that this rings more true for males than females. As a result, Matt has suffered from some pretty horrible haircuts in the last 3 years. The most recent bad haircut happened in Thailand. His hair was getting shaggy and weird so after some deliberation he decided it was time to make the big shave. We both thought this would be the best time to try it out and that it would be low maintenance for the trip and if it looked terrible then it would have sufficient time to grow back before we get back to Canada. I have to say, I'm in shock. I miss his hair already but it doesn't look that bad. Does it? What does everyone think? Oh and notice that we found a hat that doesn't look ridiculous on him! But with the hair he looks sort of like he's in the army. Hmmm... I am expecting some comments and feedback people. Here's the before and after:

I think I like it. Need to see him in person to be sure. He looks sort of monkish. kind of cute. Not really tough guy, although it could look tough if he were in a bad mood. Maybe on a bad day sick and with bags under the eyes he could look like cancerboy. I love both those smiles.

I think I am a fan of the classic Matt... that being with hair. This new Matt is too crazy for me. When you bring him back to Canada ensure he has hair.

It's starting to look a bit better as it grows a bit but I think I like classic Matt too. ^^
It's so hard to take him seriously with that goofy grin on his face! I mean... it doesn't match the severity of the haircut. Hmm... it's not that it looks bad, it's just not the goof that we all love. :( Hope it grows in soon! Miss you!
