One really cool thing we found in Luang Prabang was a tiny ice cream shop. The ice cream was homemade and they had all the regular flavors but had created a few that you don't often see. One was beer flavor and the other was marzipan. In this picture I'm trying both of them (they put them in the same dish for some reason- not an awesome combo). The beer ice cream tasted EXACTLY like beer and the marzipan was soooo delicious!
Here's also a few of my fave pictures from Luang Prabang. It's a pretty place, even if it is overrun with tour companies and is overpriced. The night market is fun and the rivers and countryside are lovely. To see all the Luang Prabang pictures you can scurry
